About the project
When Kimmy approached us to explore a collaboration, her biggest frustration was feeling like her existing website and branding no longer reflected who Be You had become and their future potential. She told us she knew her website was holding her back from moving forward with her business.
Kimmy desired an online space that created a therapeutic, calming experience for visitors, where they gained value and an improvement in they wellbeing from the entire website experience — content, colours, imagery and journey through the pages.
Phase one of the project involved establishing the branding visuals and website foundations. Using our Florence and Jack brand kit as a base, we created a full logo suite, brand marks, custom colour palette, font system and Canva social media graphics. A library of on-brand stock imagery was also curated by us.
The branding visuals, stock imagery and carefully written words from Kimmy’s copywriter, were then weaved together onto a new website, using our Amber one-week website as the base design.
Phase two of the project was to establish an online courses platform for Be You’s short courses. We configured and branded an online course template – using the inbuilt Squarespace Online Courses platform – while providing helpful videos so the Be You team can duplicate the template easily in the future when they create more courses.
A custom sales page template was also designed and coded in a way that ensures the team can easily duplicate this for future courses, too.
Finally, we configured e-commerce to receive payments while integrating the whole system with ConvertKit to automatically welcome new students on sign up and send helpful follow up emails as they move through a course.
We love this website for its calming colour palette, the decorative brand marks popping up in unexpected locations, the powerful written words and it’s homely, slightly boho, welcoming vibe.
